Everyone deserves a safe classroom, but this isn't the answer. Physical intervention in the classroom without proper training can only hurt the learning environment Nebraska's teachers have worked so hard to create.

Along with the ACLU, parents, disability rights groups and community leaders oppose this - because they know current use of physical restraint most often affects kids with disabilities and is also disproportionately used on kids of color.
