This ensures pregnant patients get the care they need when they need it. This bill also protects health care providers, it ensures entities cannot discharge, demote, suspend or discipline health care providers from providing medically necessary care.

.....I cant imagine anyone here would disagree that when a patient’s health or life is at risk doctors and nurses must be allowed to treat their patients and provide care that is based in science and best practices.

This bill would not do much without a private right of action: the current remedies available have not prevented these delays in care from happening in our state.
