Note how the the TPD statement says the car had the siren going and videos do not. A siren is a great deterrent for people around the car and a good first step that was not used by the officer before turning to violence.

Videos showing a Tacoma police vehicle accelerating through a crowd, striking pedestrians and running over a person are shocking and the delay in calling for medical aid reported by witnesses is unacceptable. Officers misusing force must be held accountable for their actions.
