BREAKING: Along with our allies, we just filed a second motion for contempt after repeated violations of preliminary injunction barring Seattle Police from indiscriminate use of crowd control weapons.

They violated these court orders in multiple ways. For example, SPD indiscriminately pepper sprayed and gassed protestors, threw explosives into retreating crowds, and refused to allow protesters to stop moving, even to receive medical care for their injuries.

It is unfortunate that those not causing harm and destruction are inadvertently affected by methods designed to curtail damage and destruction. Tear gas, for example, cannot determine between peaceful vs. anarchistic protestors.
