On four recent occasions SPD deployed excessive and indiscriminate force against protestors in violation of court orders.

They violated these court orders in multiple ways. For example, SPD indiscriminately pepper sprayed and gassed protestors, threw explosives into retreating crowds, and refused to allow protesters to stop moving, even to receive medical care for their injuries.

It is unfortunate that those not causing harm and destruction are inadvertently affected by methods designed to curtail damage and destruction. Tear gas, for example, cannot determine between peaceful vs. anarchistic protestors.
