Hey @PinchePoli, the new order means that everyone has more protection. It states that declaring a riot or unlawful assembly does not exempt SPD from complying with the original court order, which prohibits the indiscriminate use of less lethal weapons.

while I think the stipulated order DOES help insofar as it reiterates what the law already made clear: a "riot" should be a pre-textual justification to utilize force.
But as I can appreciate what was won, I can name clearly 1/
2/ what wasn't one. In Dkt. 6, your proposed, you rightly ask for SPD to LOSE ENTIRELY "chemical weapons or projectiles of any kind for the purpose of crowd control at protests or demonstrations"
