The myopic fact of this bill and article is that nothing will fundamentally change. Once hired, employers will still be able to determine (and fire for) what employees do and consume on their unpaid days off away from work. This includes medically prescribed cannabis.

I wholeheartedly support this, but the bill doesn’t go far enough. My employer will still be able to dictate the legal activities I can partake in on my unpaid time off.
