    Shut down immigrant detention centers. ICE does not respect people's human rights.

    When standards are repeatedly violated & tax dollars are wasted, detention center contracts should be terminated. That's why CA Dems are calling on to close three facilities in our state.

    The size of the outbreak is climbing. 74 people in Tulare County jails have now tested positive for COVID-19. The Sheriff needs to test every person in the facility, and come clean about which safety protocols are being followed and which aren't.

    Four days ago, we learned that 48 people in Tulare County jails tested positive for COVID. Sheriff Boudreaux delayed disclosing this information and failed to conduct proper testing. We filed a PRA to understand the scale of the outbreak, and what needs to be done to save lives
