Boston is now the second largest city in the world to ban government use of face surveillance technology. Now let’s ban it statewide. Everyone in the Commonwealth deserves to be protected from face surveillance.

This is great but over the past several weeks law enforcement has shown they can break the law with impunity. Why should we believe that they will not use face surveillance? What are the consequences if they are found to be using it? And how will it be enforced?
