    We are at the West Wednesday in solidarity with jhu protesters fighting against Johns Hopkins private police force and ICE contracts. 7 of them were arrested today the State’s Attorney decided that the cases were “abated by arrest,” & the protestors were released.

    This is Opal Phoenix. She is a transwoman who was arrested for protesting the private police. JHU students had to fight to have put in the right police van, since BPD wanted to put her in the male car. Another example of how the criminal justice system fails people.
