MIAC operates with little accountability and transparency, and yet it has enormous power to surveil and store information on private citizens. It poses a tremendous threat to our privacy and First Amendment rights.

The MIAC is exactly what watchdogs feared it was: a highly secretive threat to fundamental constitutional rights. Terminating it would preserve our constitutional rights.
