With this vote, Portland said yes to government transparency. Now, evidence obtained through this shadowy technology will not be admissible in court proceedings.

With this vote, Portland said yes to racial justice. Face surveillance is a threat to all of our civil liberties. But it is most harmful to communities of color, especially Black communities, which are already over-policed and hyper-surveilled.
