Bangor PD is still arresting people for petit offenses like trespass and operating after suspension when they feel like it. Not as often as they used to, but it shouldn’t be happening at all.
The majority of people in Maine's jails are there simply because they can't make bail. And now, their inability to pay bail is a potential death sentence. Stop
