1. The town council isn't involved on any level when it comes to school employee contract negotiations. 2. Lots of things can lead to conflict of interest when it comes to local govt, so there is a law governing what to do in those cases. (cont'd)

Yes, but they do have a great amount of control over how the municipal and school budgets are crafted. Back in 15' there was a major dispute between Counselors, and the School department of the way funds were handled. Events like this be a massive conflict. 1/2
