    Under no circumstances should the government be allowed to execute people. The federal death penalty system is broken, racist, ineffective, and cruel — this move will set our country back decades.

    BREAKING: The Justice Dept. just reinstated the federal death penalty for the first time in 16 years. 5 death row inmates are now scheduled for execution.

    This settlement is woefully inadequate. It fails to put meaningful limits on how Facebook collects and uses our data, shields the company from responsibility for "unknown" violations, and holds no one personally liable for years of privacy violations and misleading statements.

    The FTC’s settlement with Facebook lets the company get away with far too much.

    With this ruling, the court recognized — as it did with the first asylum ban — that the Trump administration was attempting an unlawful end run around Congress. We will continue fighting the draconian measures put forth in the administration’s war on asylum-seekers.
