The systemic Racism that existed in America was utterly atrocious. Oppressive laws ensured that people of color had no choice. But same sex couples (whom I support) have plenty of other choices. Hire a baker whose values align with your own. Don’t infringe on religious rights.

It is worth pointing out that MANY instances of racism/discrimination also used the "it's against my religion" bullshit as an excuse. Bob Jones used this as an excuse until 2000 (when they lifted their ban on interracial dating). It's all bullshit, and it is ALL discrimination.
