The president should know that it's not Section 230 that protects social media companies from liability for false information. It's the First Amendment. The Constitution protects people — and social media companies — from government censorship campaigns.

On this, we disagree. Social Media companies have been allowed too much leeway & the laws haven't kept up with the threat that disinformation poses to society. I prefer the path the EU & Australia have taken regarding holding Big Tech/Social Media accountable.
