  Currently the police union, the AFL-CIO has been pushing Congress to pass HR 1154, a bill that would expand the power of police unions nationwide. State Laws facilitate police killings of AfAms. Policies need to change for police accountability. Change Police bill of rights.

  Most police union contracts require municipal indemnification of bad cops (the municipality pays for all adverse judgments and settlements arising from police misconduct). Indemnification absolves cops of personal responsibility for their misconduct. #EndIndemnification
