The only thing worse than children in cages or a pandemic is children in cages with a pandemic.
-
Or dead children in cages. It's not like anyone is going to give one of them a ventilator if they need it.

If we do not reduce the number of people in cages in the United States, the conditions will accelerate the spread of coronavirus.
#COVID19 and other viruses do not stay in cages. https://twitter.com/ynb/status/1236075939810775040?s=21 … https://twitter.com/montyboa99/status/1232813892168011778?s=21 … https://twitter.com/beckybunzy/status/1164676870530633728?s=21 …https://twitter.com/ifindkarma/status/1164284182282924033?s=21 …

Supplies have to be going in and out of there. Guards are coming and going. Just like our jails and prisons, it’s not just the people being detained, it’s everyone there at horrible risk. Add to that the injustice of them being in cages at all- it’s a death sentence.

I firmly believe that the government will say it’s too dangerous to let them out in the public because they don’t want the virus to spread anymore. The virus will spread across the detention center and kill hundreds, maybe even thousands. Making many a**holes very happy.

And 50 years from now Americans will look back saying, "We didn't know."

It was already a humanitarian crisis! I have a bad feeling that, just as before, they won’t care AT ALL about the health and safety of those in detention.
-
Agree nor will they care about the homeless that have been rounded up - I predict pockets of quiet genocide
