It absolutely is a privilege. It's ridiculous to ask criminals who should be representing the masses.

Voting is a right, not a privilege. And if people who have been convicted of felonies are denied their right to vote; there is an incentive for politicians to criminalize things that harm no one.

I Partially agree, I think once someone has served their time and been released from incarceration, all of their rights should be restored and they should be allowed to vote.
