        DACA grants people who came to the US as children, who pass a criminal background check and meet education and other criteria, temporary protection from deportation. They can also apply for two-year, renewable work permits.

        President Trump and his administration’s decision to abandon the DACA program was a political one, not a legal one. Securing protections for Dreamers is the right thing to do. DACA is and always will be constitutional. #HomeIsHere #HeretoStay
