First they rob you of your birth control, they than try and strip you of any rights to have an abortion, then if you become pregnant and have the child, they want to take away any support you may need after you've had the child. So wrong on so many levels!

Add this ot the long list of things that my fellow citizens think I should pay for on their behalf. I’m sure this list will increase as soon as the D’s get back in. Wondrous.
-
Good point: let’s make sure to strip EVERY ERECTILE MEDICATION from coverage too.

-
I’d be ok with that. Seems an elective medication that taxpayers should not be required to subsidize.
-
Absolutely! Much more cost effective to subsidize pregnancy, birth and government programs for Women and Children. Makes perfect sense!!!

-
Moral hazard seems to have lost any meaning today. If I don’t get any vote in the creation of a family, why am I required to pay for it? Just curious.
-
It’s called social morality. We don’t live in isolation. Each of us has an effect on others & others have an effect on us. Successful societies work together for the benefit of a “WE”, as opposed to a self-centered, narcissistic society that is only focused on “ME”.
-
When government takes over societal obligations, then recipients of aid consider the funds a right. This erodes the commitment of those receiving the funds to account well for them. It has destroyed family formation, local control, and community involvement. 1/2
-
Yep. It destroys the old ideas that women had to stay married to abusers, had to have as many babies as she could until she died, and couldn't go to her community for involved aid because they knew her husband and also believed she should stay married.

Siri, why do the GOP hate women?
-
They don’t, but why should tax dollars go to covering someone’s personal responsibilities? How about these women buy rubbers?
-
Because birth control isn't just for contraceptive use & tax dollars have nothing to do with private medical insurance plans. But, you know, cool story bro...
-
If you can prove it’s for medical reasons then I don’t have a problem with it. But if it’s just because then pay for it yourself or buy rubbers
-
Yet the change doesn't provide any exception for medical necessities; it just revokes the requirement to include coverage for birth control prescriptions.
-
If that’s true, that’s wrong
