We just wrapped the first day of our trial to stop the Trump administration from asking about citizenship on the 2020 census. Here's what you need to know:pic.twitter.com/l2SMaLMHvI

So glad to see my small monthly donation supporting such fine work! Makes me feel like I’ve contributed to this fight even in a small way.

Dontcha think it’s kinda important to know how many people are living here legally?

The constitution mandates everyone living in the United States be counted. It says nothing about citizenship.

If you're not a citizen of the United States, you shouldn't be able to vote. Gain your citizenship and then you can. It's that simple!

Census determines electoral college. You are actively opposing only citizens determining electoral college votes. You may have good reasons, I may disagree - but at least admit this effects electoral college votes - more illegal immigrants on census - more presidential votes.

Im sorry but are we worried for legal immigrants here or illegal immigrants? Since just asking if you are a citizen has no real bars for worry if you are here legally. You can be a permanent resident but not a citizen. So I fail to see the issue with this particular question.

It will cause people2b scared2 complete a census form which will then cause them not 2brepresented by their government. We need 2know who’s here. For funding allocation. But trump/gop are using it as a tactic Like locking up 3yr olds and trying them w/o any rights ( illegal )

It's simple. Illegal immigrants have ZERO RIGHT to be in America illegally! No representation in Congress should be given to illegal immigrants because it acts as a magnet for illegal immigration. Violating our immigration laws shouldn't result in any benefits to illegals!
