Essentially, the Republicans and Trump are developing their own version of the Nuremberg laws, and we are experiencing what it was like to be in Germany during the 1930's. #VoteBlueToSaveAmerica

So, the ACLU wants people in the country without legal documentation and people here on visas and so forth to be counted in the census so the left can have MORE congressional representatives! Got it!

Even I as an NPC am baffled by the sheer amount of idiocy this post contains. "folks who may not feel comfortable answering if they are a citizen"?!? I mean, laws requiring documentary proof of citizenship are problematic ?!?

We need to get the citizenship question added to the census, and get districts apportioned according to the number of people who ACTUALLY BELONG HERE AND CAN VOTE.

I’ve worked the Census before. It’s amazing how difficult the jobs can be. And how crazy responses can be to “simple” questions. The impact of those answers are huge!

Get more representatives by letting in more non-citizens. Yep, original intent is definitely in line with this.

I would argue that even if non citizens cannot vote they have the right to be counted without fear because our representatives represent everyone in their district. #14A

Think about: fuel taxes for roads/bridges; consumer taxes for foods/goods; payroll taxes; property taxes/revenues. On economics alone it's a no-brainer! These non-citizens pay THEIR share and more! Contribution = Representation! Representation = Democracy!

I'm no atty. But after reading these pro-censureship (advocates for citizenship question) tweets, it calls for a clear explanation of representation. How much do you think these non-citizens contribute to the economies of local, state and federal governments and communities????
