        Its the primary language. Meaning legislation, laws, and many other official communique are English. But in order to vote in any country, speaking the official or legislative language should onviously be one of the many prerequisites.

        I don't think you understand. The US doesn't have an official language. English happens to be the language used in government, but Spanish is also heavily used.

        How could you be a citizen and don't know English when the Constitution says you have to speak and write to be a naturalized citizen? And if you were born here how can you not speak English but a foreign language. How do you figure that Spanish is heavily used in US?
