We’ll keep saying this: When you present yourself at the border, it is a RIGHT to apply for asylum.http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-border-immigrants-asylum-20181031-story.html …

@antonioguterres Please send @UN watchdog to monitor & report on what's happening along U.S. southern border. This is a humanitarian crisis in the making & actions by @realDonaldTrump will only fuel this chaos rather than solving the problem with expedited asylum processing.

This is the beginning of concentration camps for the US. Deploying the Army on US soil is wrong, and if I’m not mistaken illegal.

Don’t get too worried. Remember that Lime Sunday still or whatever the right wing got freaked out about in 2015. These ridiculous stunts are useful training, too and need not be a sign of coming dystopia.

I’m sure the people that said they wouldn’t go that far in Germany felt the same way.

There’s tons of reasons to look at Trump and other Republicans and assume they are adopting a new Nazi regime but troop movements aren’t really one of them.

It’s not just about potentially illegal troop movements. It’s about the fact he’s said, “We’re going to built tents there.” Look at history. That has never ended well.

It’s American Civil Liberties, not Civil Liberties of Americans. Their name and their functions prevail.

They were also turned away when they kidnapped thier children. No one is paying attention. Trump is/has been violating the law by not allowing asylum requests. So they have not been turned down. More dirty tricks and lies. ACLU come on down to the border.
