Eisha has experienced discrimination at every turn in her life, including when she was in the criminal justice system. This spring, Jeff Sessions rolled back guidelines meant to protect transgender people in federal prisons.pic.twitter.com/NzjXUUmBR4

Just last week, the DOJ told the Supreme Court that our client Aimee Stephens shouldn’t be protected by federal employment law. Jennifer also experienced discrimination in the workplace because she is transgender.pic.twitter.com/I06ufUvlLV

Kai, Eisha, and Jennifer show the transgender community’s resiliency in the face of bathroom bills, vulnerability in employment and housing, and re-entering society after incarceration. Trans people cannot be erased, whether the president likes it or not.https://www.aclu.org/issues/lgbt-rights/transgender-rights/trans-america …

This child has feminine tendencies and is more likely gay. Doesn’t mean he knows he’s trans at that age.
-
Being feminine does not mean liking men. Being gay does not mean being feminine.
-
Never claimed either. Most of these children end up being gay. This isn’t controversial
-
You clearly assumed both, and that's not how homosexuality works. Being trans and being gay are two entirely different things.
-
Sometimes yes. Sometimes it’s the same condition. You don’t own the knowledge on this topic. Claiming otherwise is disingenuous.
-
Being trans does not make someone more likely to be gay, and vice versa. I don't own the knowledge on this topic, I just have it. The majority of Americans have absolutely no clue about what being trans or gay is, and rely on stereotypes. I'm just weird and happen to know things.
-
N such thing as a trans child. Being feminine boy who fits the criteria for gender dysphoria does mean he will likely end up homosexual or bisexual. 80-95% of gender dysphoric children desist by puberty-most of them end up gay/bisexual. You happen to know things that aren't true.

They don’t face harassment because they are trans. They face harassment because they are different. There’s no need for special protective laws. It’s simply life. An area of life where we have greatly improved as a society and have more improvements to make.
-
Buddy, they do need protective laws. We have laws that protect people of different religions, different ethnicities, gender, sexuality, etc. It makes sense (and is just and good) to have laws to protect trans people. Those laws won't hurt you, so there's no need to oppose them.
-
No. We have laws that protect religion, race and sexual preference. That’s more than enough. Not every person that’s in a minority or different deserves special protections. We’re all freaks of nature in some way. Each one of us doesn’t deserve our own little law to protect us.
-
"Not every person that’s in a minority or different deserves special protections." They literally do, you filth-eater.
-
They literally don’t. White supremacists are in a minority. They are often singled out and discriminated against. Shall we offer them special protections?
