🗣 If we want leaders who are willing to say enough is enough with the failed War on Drugs, we have to vote like it.https://www.aclu.org/blog/criminal-law-reform/drug-law-reform/mississippi-sentences-man-8-years-prison-medical-marijuana?redirect=blog/criminal-law-reform/drug-law-reform/mississippi-sentences-man-eight-years-prison-medical …

The War on Drug has not "failed", it has been a Huge success. It's doing exactly what it was designed to do, which is disproportionately target & mass-incarcerate black people for non-violent drug possession, to exploit them for prison slave labor.

Exactly! But don't forget the cigarette industry, whom lobbies politicians to keep marijuana illegal, so the competition won't cut into thier drug profits.

Pot is legal in just about every state. No one should be in jail except Donald Trump & Friends. Pot is not the war on drugs, that war changes with ever drug change. Pot isn’t a drug you can buy it on every corner.

The guy smuggled nearly 3lb of Marijuana from Oregon. He clearly could have been selling it for profit. If he doesn’t like the laws in Mississippi, then move, otherwise be a law abiding citizens. It’s pretty easy, he has nobody to blame but himself.

Marijuana comes packaged in many forms, though. Some heavier than others. A dispensary near me sells chocolate edibles in 12 oz bags of mini bars. Want all 4 flavors? 4 bags = 3lbs. That’s reasonable for someone with chronic pain who needs to stock up for several months.

Gary Webb who work 4 the San Diego Mercury wrote Dark Alliance...talks about the war on drugs in detail. Supposedly he committed suicide after it hit the public.

even alex jones covered this coverup on prison planet. two 38's to the head and a shot gun blast to the face definitely points to Arkansas

You either have to stop the drugs at the border or deal with them once they have crossed the border. How would you recommend addressing the problem? Your recommendations for Chicago have been real effective.

And this is why I’m voting against my current governor even though he’s doing a decent job. He’s against marijuana but is committed to the opioid crisis. If he’d stop obstruction our recreational usage he’d be in a better position to win in November

We have seen a continued attack on democracy, a few are determined to fan the flames of division through hateful speech and action. The voices of reason MUST speak louder now before it’s too late. Here is the America we love.https://youtu.be/5WlbMAyuUYs
