When Amara Strande was just 16, a 15-pound tumor was found embedded in her liver. Nearly the size of a volleyball. She was one of many students at Tartan High School in Oakdale who got cancer. Students joked about the water fountains, saying, “Don’t drink the 3M cancer water.” 🧵

We decided to cancel our plans for a holiday party next month. Very sad but after dealing with Covid in our house for the last 2 weeks, we don't want to expose ourselves or anyone else to that growing risk, especially right before Christmas.

In a 4 minute span in DTLA we just saw a homeless woman urinate on the sidewalk while yelling at 2 nearby LAPD officers, 2 unmarked helicopters fly by at extremely low altitude, then a great blue heron land in a nearby tree.
