The police presence really did a lot at that last one! Only 10 dead!

The officer was shot.

ARM TEACHERS (voluntarily). There's no other reasonable solution. That is (1) inexpensive, (2) easy to implement, and (3) very effective because the teachers are at the location of these shootings. That is not a perfect solution, but we're not living in a sinless world.
-
It would be a good thing to hold the gun owners accountable, especially parents. One school had a teacher who was armed and she left the gun in the bathroom. I'm not so sure arming teachers to have shoot outs in the schools is a good idea. We need a solution though.

Yes, let’s equate an embryo/fetus with a high school student in order to deflect from the fact that the NRA is essentially a gun lobbying group that profits from the false “they want to take our guns” narrative.

I agree!! We need to stop expecting government to protect us, we have to start arming ourselves, getting well trained, and protect ourselves and our children.

That's why we need armed security in every school. Metal detectors. Behavior awareness. Faster expulsions and suspensions. Conceal-carry teachers if they want to. Only 1 or 2 well guarded entrance/exits. Civics & civility And start seriously regulating violent video games. NOW!
-
Every country in the world has violent video games. Stupid comment as there WERE armed guards in TX & it didn't stop a damned thing.
-
Not as stupid as your comment. And gun crimes world-wide are covered up by the media. Only America's are reported loud and clear 24/7 idiot.

I’m so sick of “thoughts and prayers” as a response.

Yak, yak yak. Schools do nothing. Sue the schools. It's their fault. Should have pat downs, armed guards right at door. Everyone gets pat down continuously. Just like at the airport.
