I agree.

Then you would logically also agree that guns should be subjected to the same registration, licensing, and insurance requirements as vans and trucks, right?
-
You do realize that the majority of vehicles used in these attacks are rented, right? Those requirements stop absolutely nothing and no one.
-
Ever had a person use a van or truck to commit a crime that couldn't later be tracked or traced? No. Rental requires proof of identity and payment. Guns are easily transferred without records of ownership. Next, please.
-
You just explained stolen vehicles. Happens all the time.
-
And you said rented so you don't even know what you're arguing. Try again.

Figures you would use the weakest possible argument possible to defend assault rifle deadly gun ownership proliferation of hand guns and weapons on Street kids. I guess then we should Outlaw airplanes to since 911. Cars aren't made to kill they're meant for Transportation.
-
Vehicles have a different purpose and can sometimes be used to kill, guns are made to kill and people are using them correctly. People will always find a way but without so many guns they can't use them to kill people at will.

Why not require gun owners to have licenses, too; you know, like people who drive vans & cars? They have to apply, pass a test, renew it. That seems like a good idea to me.

Coming from a guy speaking at a gun-free zone. Gee, you'd think the Secret Service would want as much help as possible from all those good guys with guns.

Let’s start with the sales of ar-15s to people under 21. You can’t even rent a van until your 25.
