Engine explosion threw parts into and thru a window. Don’t sit there. I never do

-
The window was several rows back from the engine. The plane was in motion and the parts blew back and through the window at the speed of a bullet. But keep telling yourself you have control over everything

-
Exactly! Plus, they said the Cabin pressure dropped quickly, so I’m sure people were using the oxygen bags.

Did... did..the government regulations... did that not work?
-
Well, considering that this is the first passenger death on a US airline in 9 years, and US airlines have over 700 million passenger enplanement per year, I would say government safety regulations have been pretty good.
-
One death is too many.
