"sparks calls for answers" this is deception. Correction: Local Texas community demands accountability after witnessing video evidence of police brutality.

Precisely. Call for their jobs and I'm sure tasks forces would be more mindful. Dock their pay. Let them sit in a cell as VTO. Let them face the families of their victims. Their badge should not carry its current level of immunity from justice.

We have to insist because no one is restraining them in any fashion.

But does it explain why it happened? Or is it more selective reporting to ignite more controversy?

All I can see in the video is that he was resisting arrest......

-
Even resisting arrest doesn’t give police the right to brutally assault someone. There were three police officers physically on top of the man being arrested yet the police officer whose footage we watched still felt the need to punch the man over the side of his face.

Those aren’t even hard punches. Just enough to get him to move his arm.
-
How can you make that judgement? You weren’t the one being punched. It looked like a hard punch which is why the man who was being arrested felt the need to reach up and touch the area of pain. Resisting arrest doesn’t give police the right to brutally assault someone.
-
I can make that judgement cause I have been punched a lot. You can tell from the motion of the punch and the officers body that it wasn't hard. It doesn't take a hard punch to the ear/face to cause enough pain to get people to comply without causing actual damage. "brutally" ha

People are acting like this was the Rodney King beating. The take away here is don't do drugs and resist arrest.
