The punishment DOES NOT FIT THE "CRIME" .... THE HARSHNESS OF THIS SENTENCE IS DUE TO HER BEING BLACK....TWO OTHER INCIDENTS OF ILLEGAL VOTING....BOTH PARTICIPANTS WHITE....ONE..... PROBATION AND A FINE.....TWO....... PROBATION AND CS.....THIS IS WRONG AND BLANTANLY RACIST

OOOOOOOR....she violated her parole and thus was sent back to prison per the rules of parole. Hmmmmm weird how you're expected to NOT commit crimes after you get out of prison for committing crimes
-
Yet when she walked up to the table and gave her name it was written right there and she signed next to it - Then was given A card to vote and directed to the voting booth? Her name should not have appeared if she couldn’t vote !
#disgrace -
Exactly! But, are you trying to say she's not responsible for violating the terms of her parole because her name was a voting list? That's like saying a thief isn't guilty of stealing cuz the item wasn't nailed to the floor.
-
Not at all.... Ignorance is no exception to the law....I am saying what I said....the Punishment DOESN'T FIT THE CRIME AND THE SEVERITY OF PUNISHMENT IS BASED ON RACE .... IT'S NOT FAIR.....THIS US BLATANT RACISM

Maybe this will HELP YOU UNDERSTAND..... I AM FLIPPING MY MIDDLE FINGER ....SINCE YOU CAN'T SEE IT .......I THOUGHT I WOULD EXPLAIN
-
Oh, well that changes reality completely and makes your false narrative about race accurate.

She’s black. And she didn’t know she couldn’t vote while on parole. Because no one told her. So taxpayers will now pay at least $200K to imprison her and her family is shattered. Because of right wing, racist hysteria.
-
No they tell you in court and on your parole papers. Nice try
-
Uh huh.

I didn't think being on parole stripped a person from their constitutional rights! I believe that even ppl in prison should be able to vote. Being incarcerated should not strip someone of their constitutional rights.

Why? Tons of Trump voters got caught cheating and got no jail time. Oh wait she's black...
-
Black and voting. Can't be having that. This is another attempt at voter suppression. Get the fear out and spread it across the nation confusing the voters.

This is ignorant!! People incarcerated should be able to vote because different political views could mean a different turnout in their future!
-
You win twitters stupidest comment ever
-
Tell that to all the people that are incarcerated because of a rich bigot that has a sick sensation for getting wealthy off of incarceration and slavery of humans

-
Another stupid comment. You are consistent. People are incarcerated because the broke laws.
-
Shows your ignorance. People are wrongfully incarcerated everyday!
