Any particular reason why they felt they needed to act like this in order to get their point across? It doesn't make a lot a sense. Speak appropriately and with intelligence on behalf of your slain and murdered brother if you want people to fully listen to your message.

Let's see if you can speak appropriately and with intelligence if your loved one is shot to death multiple times.

The parents of Jordan Davis in Florida seemed to do a pretty decent job of expressing their grief and saddness in an appropriate manner. Lemme guess.... Everyone is different right?
-
Do you not realize how that hasn't worked for years? Are people actually suppose to just keep asking and speaking calmly when people still get shot every day for no reason? It doesn't work at all

Not the best way to get your point across, but hey...if my (hypothetical) brother was shot for no reason I can't really say what I would do
-
Thank you for being honest!!

Always

A lot of people lack basic understanding of this. Like everyone who is against this has never had a family memeber taken from them in front of their eyes by the police. Not one!
-
I havent either, but i have empathy for the people who have. It doesnt mean they can act however they want, but grief can be overwhelming and all consuming.
-
And that brings up a whole other topic of how the black community handles things and how the fact that they handle them so poorly it never works out well for them.
-
I don't see race when I see this video. I see a grief stricken man who is lost about his brother being killed so unjustly and who just wants something to be done. By taking action, he is taking his mind off the pain that he most certainly is in

This makes me sad. I support him and his cause but this isn't the way to get people to listen. Sadly I think he set his brother's cause back. I understand anger and sadness but this is not ok. This is contempt of court.

Nothing else works , NOTHING

You might be right. I'm not black and I didn't lose my brother. I try to check my privilege at the door but I feel like he's giving people a way to validate things in their minds. I don't know the right way to get people to listen but I don't think it was this.

-
20 times , idk what I would do . Frustrating when we take the calm approach nothing is said nothing is done . But when we show the slightest bit of outrage then people will comment on it
-
I totally get what you're saying. I don't have the right answer. I wish I did. I just feel like this behavior validates the racists in some way. At least in their minds...
-
Racist are very delusional, hard to satisfy people who act like that
-
You're right and their opinions shouldn't count nor should anyone have to explain to them. I tidally get what you're saying. I thought the "dance" that he did seemed cocky and some people are going to miss his message because of it.
-
I understand your point Tammy, but
@KinFolkLo and Clark’s brother are right in that the only way to get a response is to call for and demand attention which will be uncomfortable. But the ppl who use it to validate their opinions would have had those opinions either waypic.twitter.com/KZuZZmk9t8
