It’s called white privilege. Telling a marginalized group of people their problems aren’t relevant or don’t exist is white privilege. This is why things aren’t changing people can’t see beyond their own purview 🙄🙄

I would concern myself with Brexit and trying not to stretch out t-shirts when putting them over your head.

Brexit doesn't concern me and I only really wear shirts so the t-shirt problem also doesn't concern me. Thankfully regardless of who is in charge in the UK I can rest safe knowing they won't be a pussy grabbing nazi-sympathising rapist narcissist. I also won't get gunned down.👍

Not a bad idea to be fair. Deep V-necks look OK with a shirt but without one, showing off your chest looks a tad vain. I'll sleep on it.

This break my heart to see this.. And sorry for their loss but.. to come in there and get on the table and get into their faces.. etc.. that wasn't the best way to do that. I can understand the anger but..not this way..Kids are watching 🙏🕊️

His brother was murdered. Police murder black people without consequences. Just this week #AltonSterling murderer was let off with no charges. So, I think keeping attention on is a good idea. Kids are watching that too.

Is there a right way to be heard about your brother being murdered by the police? Especially when you see them do it over and over w/ no consequences? Don't kneel, that offensive. Don't protest, that's offensive. Don't organize, you're too young. #NoCopAcademy #BlackLivesMatter

So city counsel is having a special meeting to help them and their family and the family disrupts it and create an unsafe environment so city counsel cancels the special meeting to help them and their family. That makes perfect sense.

City council resumed after this and listened for hours. Then someone in the lobby assaulted an officer and was detained, leading to chaos, at which point the meeting was ended for safety. Then the mayor rescheduled the follow-up, to not conflict with the wake. It does make sense.

How? What did it accomplish? I'm sure a large portion of the rooms inner thoughts were "I understand why the cops shot him now" as bad as that sounds, but it's probably more truth than not. You catch more flies with honey.

I understand the lack of ‘honey’ when your brother was shot 20 times tho. I wonder what would have happened if all the white people on the board had stood up & chanted for a minute ... & then invited them to sit down & join the discussion?

He didn’t just walk in and jump on the benches or do a “crazy dance”. He had plenty to say before all that and they were still trying to shut him up. Please continue mansplaining to us how people should grieve or protest. 🙄
