Literally just threw away my @united card. I will donate my miles and will never fly the airline again. I will openly advocate to all business associates to never travel @united . Absolutely despicable and reprehensible actions from @united #BoycottUnitedAirlines

The owner of the dog is to be blamed also.
-
How did they not check on their baby? Why couldn’t they put it under the seat where they’re safe?
-
Because the flight attendant told them to put it up there! Family is NOT to blame airline is!!!
-
I would have opened the bin 100 times during the flight. Actually I would have gotten off the flight.
-
Thank you. If you can't have the dog in or under the seats, I would've never even thought to stuff my dog in an enclosed space like that..
-
Me either!thanks to the wonderful flight attendant.who helped put bag up there!to many pets killed on United flights enough is enough!18-24 animals killed are on United flights, they even paid to have the dog under seat because of turbulence they were NOT allowed out seat
-
When there is some turbulence the flight attendants are able to move about. If it was my baby up there I would demand that they ventilate the bin since there is a living creature trapped inside. As a dog mom how do you not check?
-
They would have to tie me down.

Witness accounts say the owner resisted & begged the
@united flight attendants to not make her put the puppy in the overhead bin but they insisted. Those who are saying she should have deplaned she was traveling with a child & newborn.#TheyAssuredHerHeWouldBeFine#BoycottUnited -
This is
@United's fault, not the family's. Personally I would never have allowed it and would not have stayed on board if they tried to make me do that. None of the dog owners I know would have allowed it. Regardless, the responsibility is squarely on United.#BoycottUnited -
Not United’s fault. What was she doing traveling with a child, infant and a dog, put the dog in a kennel? If she did her dog would be alive so it’s death is on her. Tell me would you want to sit next to someone with two kids and a dog for which she probably only paid for 2 seats?
-
#BoycottUnited They approved the carrier. They hired the sociopath that forced this situation. They should have made her get off the airplane rather than kill her dog. It is clearly#UnitedAirline's fault.@United should donate $25 Million to@HumaneSociety#BoycottUnited

Has there ever been an airline that more consistently makes the worst possible move in every situation?
