How do you know they were doing it for show? Perhaps it could’ve been done to show example and lesson for the members.

Posting on Facebook and doing this in front of a camera for views is petty. I bet this pastor lives in a huge house and wants the attention
-
At least it is doing good for attention if that is what is happening. And not attacking minority groups or screaming hatred.

This Pastor got his reward, the applaud from Twitter and social media. It is when we do things to honor God in secret, that God blesses us.
-
True -- but Jesus often had an audience and good press, too

-
Jesus also said on Matthew 6:3 "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing"

And this is how Christianity should work. Don't give your money to the Vatican (the wealthiest business on the planet) nor to the mega-church grifters like Joel Osteen (house pictured below).

My hope is that this guy isn't just a next level grifter.

Nice gesture, but not in front of an audience—very tacky

I thought so too

Good on them. Definitely not the norm. Ran a pizza place for 10 years. Delivered to large church gatherings a lot. I can probably count on one hand how many times the driver was tipped AT ALL, let alone decently.
-
Not surprised It's all for show
-
I actually thought that after I posted. Had it not been for the cameras, that delivery driver probably wouldn't have gotten shit either. Christian charity in action.

Or he could've just given her the money and spared her from being a floor show.

The whole world didn’t need to know about it. Were they doing it out of love or for publicity ?
