waste of taxpayer money!
Was in the works in the previous admin. He just renegotiated the deal with Boeing. And no, a safe and secure Air Force One is not a waste of tax payer money!
Sure it is... if Trump says it's 3.9...it'll be twice that after numerous changes... don't trust him.
Also the original estimate was 4 billion. So he negotiated 100k informally???
Great business man.... great great great
Great, all you have to do now is put a real president in it....lol
Let's all pray that #46 will not be Pence.
For real
Who gets the commission on that Epic Sale? Trump loyal companies are getting rewarded in the #MAGA Era. 3.9 Billion, Who designed it Tony Starks ?pic.twitter.com/YlcbvmL8vl
Obama ordered them. It wasn't Trump. Trump.just negotiated the price down. Obama gave Boeing a blank check.
Funny part is that the next president will be the one who flies in it! #46
He cancelled the order in the beginning of the presidency but is now going forward with the order. I remember Boeing being quite miffed when he cancelled.
One thing for sure... Joe will be flying in style after 2020 elections!!! Thanks Donny!!!
Was this a necessary expense? This guy all he does is spend the taxpayers money and nothing else is done in Washington.
Do your research. Boeing was actually awarded the contract to build the new Air Force One fleet in Jan. 2016. The Pentagon already had funds earmarked for these two replacement planes by the Obama administration. Before Trump was even elected, estimated costs were $5 Billion.
So what. Why bring it back. And the previous president did not have it.
This fleet is replaced every 30yrs. The current fleet was commissioned in 1990. When the new fleet is complete, they will be in service for 32yrs. Time to be replaced.
