There was one in the Florida school and it didn't make a difference.

But it might make a difference here. Doing nothing will definitely not make a difference.
-
It is not that it can’t or won’t make a difference. I just don’t like it when people are given a false sense of security. You also have to be careful they aren’t asked to handle disciplinary rules instead of the faculty, then creating antagonistic relationship with the students.

Funny, this kid in Florida knew there were armed guards and still did what he did. These guys are not mentally stable and often have a death wish. You really think armed guards are a deterrent?

this is the wrong direction...this isn't going to help anything at all. This is a silent martial law.

Because they actually care about the well being of the kids and teachers..

There's no good answer to any of this but at least they're going to do what they can. At least that's something they can do
-
There are good answers. But we have to be willing to listen. So how come everyone else has method’s to keep this from happening, but we are considered the safest nation of all, and we can’t prevent this ? I just thought that are children meant more to them then this. “sell outs.”
-
We're the safest nation in relation to other nations attacking us probably but it appears that this melting pot that we call USA is boiling. We need to promote lots of love and take action to keep the future generations safe. And you're right, starts with an open mind
-
The picture what you are showing, “is what my heart is feeling..” Because if you care about humanity, if you care about children, if you care about women’s rights. If care about your neighbor and if you care about racism, and If you care about American. How can you do this ?

it's come to this that schools need more security. I'm for it but I stress this.MAKE SURE THERE PAYING ATTENTION AND NOT LOOKING AT THEIR PHONES. it's gotten even into commercials how everyone is glued to the phone. protecting our children is more important.

Add metal detectors and officers both and should be as safe as we can get with schools. I had armed police in my high school back in the day because of drugs and fights, makes sense to keep them there to help prevent harm to innocent kids too.

This doesn't decrease the presence of guns! We need laws on gun control- not on allowing more to be present in the lives of students! No student should ever feel unsafe or threatened walking to school in the morning!
