As someone with chronic pain... weed does nothing. Only opioids help. I am a responsible user and only use it when my pain gets so bad I can't move... People with no self control ruin it for people like me.
goes to show that what works for some won't work for others... i know some people with anxiety disorders who don't enjoy weed, but for me it's way more helpful than SSRIs and less addictive than benzos
btw addiction is a lot more complex than "people with no self control", victim-blaming addicts helps nobody
Too little, too late , I am a therapist in West Virginia working with addicts , the problem is now patients are turning from prescription drugs to illicit drugs , we’ve lost a generation here
License to kill, and they know it. $600 million in fines for misleading the public, but BILLIONS and billions in profits. Talk is cheap. Murder by numbers and tens of thousands of Americans in prison over marijuana. Crime.
Like that’s gonna help! It’s too late for that to have ANY positive affect. TLTL (too little, too late)
That's my point, what do we do if we're in really bad pain.People will go to something else, especially if they're in pain and can't get any relief.
I think it's a shame that we can't get pain relief because someone abuses the drug. I think that they should keep making this drug' only dispense it in good moderation.
What are they going to do?Sell it directly to the addict?
I was hooked on fentanyl after a coma. I had no access to cannabis in South Carolina - so I moved to New England. Cannabis saved my life. #420
My father had excruciating pain in his spine at 87 and this Is all that helped. Marijuana is not a pain killer.
Billions of dollars later the company has an ethical epiphany. The Sackler family should fund a charity to help heal all the lives their drugs have destroyed. There should be as many rehab centers as museums with the Sackler name emblazoned on the entrance ways.
Best news in a long timr. Doctors prescribe .ultimately complicit
Now it will market to the public. I can just see the new ads. A man and woman are each laying in a bathtub overlooking a spring meadow... completely unconscious and drooling. OxyContin...let reality slip away.
So thoughtful. I'll pass on the good news to the over victim I saw dead in the street last week.
Do you think it's a little to late.
