11 school shootings in the first 23 days of 2018 is absolutely heartbreaking. American children are being murdered, at school.

I know you aren't going to like this, but guns aren't all of the problem. Mental health plays as big or bigger part in this picture. I'm not saying we don't need better gun control (we do). What I am saying is we also need to make mental health a priority as well. Condolences.pic.twitter.com/cNpe1RpETV

Well the how come in countries with gun controls in place (such as Canada where I live) are there fewer incidents such as this? It’s because gun control keeps guns out of the hands of children and mentally ill people.

Gut wrenching. I cannot even fathom her trauma or her pain. My prayers go out to her mother and family.

Tell me why your misinterpretation of a 250 year old amendment matters more than this teen's life?
#Repeal2A#KentuckySchoolShooting -
I think you misinterpret the reason for the 2nd amendment. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Please interpret this....
-
Shush troll.
-
Sorry but no the concept of the 2nd amendment is to protect against a tyrannical government. Which is why we had the revolutionary war.
-
The only thing tyrannical about the government is the willingness of so many politicians to take money from the NRA terrorist organization that pushes that line in an effort to sell barely regulated munitions. Also note, the government has nuclear weapons & drones. Guns don't...
-
... even the score, mate. Guns also don't keep you safe. Stats show a home with a gun is more likely to suffer an accidental shooting than without. Pretending the argument for gun ownership is anything more than "I like guns and want to own them" is dishonest.

Can we talk about gun control now? Or is it too soon? Do we need the NRA'S permission? When's enough, enough??

This is only common in the States. The rest of the world can't understand why nothing is done. It's sad.

I am pretty sure you’ve had a school/mass shooting in your state. I have had many in the state I live in. Never in Canada where I lived.
-
I have lived here in Ontario my whole life. I don’t ever remember hearing anything ever about mass shootings here or knives bombs etc...in our schools! Because It has not happened! This is Northern Ontario...we hunt moose & partridge, not children.
