Why isn't Trump helping his Citizens?
-
Because they’re not all White Anglo Saxon’s. In his mind, Any variation of white isn’t worthy of his consideration. - This POTUS is UNWORTHY of our consideration. He does NOT respect the foundation of our democracy or values of America. -

They had no electric grid of any consequence to begin with. Infrastructure is nonexistent and all has to be built new. Lawmakers in PR need to be held accountable for this mess. I notice you didn’t report the generators families were given!
-
So lawmakers caused a devastating hurricane that wiped out services to the entire island? Whew! And for a minute there I believed climate change was real!
-
No, lawmakers caused a devastating infrastructure that destroyed an electric grid that was promulgated by the government officials in charge. But you were close.
-
It was still the US govt’s responsibility to render aid and help them get up and running after the hurricane. Speaking as someone living in Texas(ya know, one the states that got whatever help it needed, no questions asked?) the bit of Aid PR did manage to get was shameful
-
I’m all for aid to PR , just tired of MSM reporting half-truths as headlines. Was in Mississippi during Katrina, know what you mean, sources I have in PR say FEMA and other agencies are doing a good job, just devastation and destruction will require time to rebuild.
-
I would have had zero issue had the situation in PR been handled as it was in the states effected, or vice versa.
-
It took MS, AL, LA years to build back just as it will Texas. PR the same, as most infrastructure has to be torn away and rebuilt. Will be a much better place when finished. There govt. needs rebuilding also as they were bankrupt prior to hurricane.

Maybe they should use some of the supplies that have been found hidden in airplane hangars? But then they couldn’t blame Trump for their situation....

Some of us have been without power since Irma, on Sept. 5. Going on five months. And I live in San Juan, not out in the mountains.
