Why, are school officials allowing buses on those streets? And filled with kids no less.If that car hadnt intervened...

It’s black ice. You can’t see it. It rained and the temp dropped just enough to freeze the wet road. Can’t tell it’s ice. Looks wet.
-
That's a scary thing...
-
For sure! Just saw a photo of the kids getting off the bus and they were all smiling high schoolers. Apparently they thought it was fun! Lol

Not really shocking at all. Things slide on ice.
-
Now, if the bus had gone AIRBORNE and then exploded at the end....THAT would have been "shocking."

Just what I was thinking! And they got on the news! They’ll be talking about this for a long time

wow, so glad they are ok...but why are the schools open?
-
Because in some places, this is an everyday thing and they can’t stop school for long periods of time
-
oh good point, didn't think of that, thanks.
-
If it's icy, that's usually when they cancel schools. Side streets aren't always taken into account when closing schools.
-
Some kid probably iced the road. Not speaking from personal experience mind you.

In South Dakota the bus driver Tokyo Drifts that corner and gets the kids to school half an hour early

The more important question is why was someone filming a school bus from their window in the first place?
-
Because it was sliding down the street?
-
I love how simple your response was lol. Thank you. You gave me a good laugh with such common sense. It’s human nature to film stuff out of the ordinary
