Personally I no longer have faith in police officers, they don't want to wound people they always shoot to kill.

You don't shoot to wound. They aren't trained to wound.

The policy isn't shoot to kill either, it's shoot to stop.. you try to aim for a leg or hand it gunna miss and kill someone else
-
yeah thanks god they don't get trained with wepaons, everyone defending the cops saying they are too stupid to hit an leg at 2m distance wtf
-
Yeah they don't get trained to shoot at a small target, you think it's easy to shoot under pressure, you should be one then stead of judging

Sad this is how Police deal with diagnosed mentally ill people. Black or White. There were so many other options. Shoot a leg..
-
I don't disagree with you, but do you know how difficult that is to do? In real life, cops aren't sharp shooters. It's hard.
-
Then they clearly need more training. Especially on how to deal with things like this.

He advanced toward a female officer after repeatedly disobeying orders to drop the weapon. She shot once.
-
His parents admitted he had mental disorders & now threatening to sue. If he were my child w/issues I would not allow him to go off.
-
Then he should be in Psychiatric care..should've been locked up in an insane asylum. No sane person behaves like that.
-
Agreed, but the system doesn't work that way bcuz in the 60's-70's, ppl abused it to lock up sane ppl & steal from them.
-
They abuse people in the wards... Isolate them.. It wont do them any good at all.

Police made right call. Can't say they didn't warn him. Stop resisting and expecting different results! Smh!
-
You would feel different if that happened to your wife or family member
-
Maybe but if my relative was armed and refused to drop weapon, the police would still be in the right.
-
How could ur family be ur world if u condone them being shot n killed by police
no offense it's just hard to comprehend that acceptance
-
My family wouldn't go towards a police officer with a weapon and refuse to drop it. That guy was warned several times.
