Would be nice if right states held right to defense in as high regard as right to smoke pot. Both are basic natural rights, after all.

Rights that exist by virtue of the fact that you do too. Like what to put into your body, how to defend it, and so on.

OK. Then any law that prevents man from living as he pleases in a non-victimizing way is obviously an infringement on natural rights.
