I thought the same thing at first, but those are rigid tubular skylights on the ceiling.

probably...but if those are on...then outlets and switches and such likely are too. I wouldn't risk it, would you?

The circuit breakers would turn off first sign of a short. The panel that holds breakers are above the waterline.
