How is leaving a bowl of candy on my porch any different from picking an item up for a grocery store shelf?

Because your grocery store isn't a pagan holiday. As a descendant of that group of Celts that came here to escape persecution before the United States was a glimmer in anyone's eye, I'm a little upset that officials aren't encouraging things like leaving candy bowls out.

For sure, but people, you can get creative and still do Halloween in safe ways. Have your child wear a mask that fits their costume. If handing out candy-Wear gloves while putting candy in snack size bags and place on your front porch. I have more ideas too!

Yea we’re going trick or treating and Halloween is on a Saturday with a full moon and the clocks back. That’s the best combo ever for Halloween. We’re partying!!
