We don’t need more of this. We need more concrete rules on how replacing Justices in an election year should be handled.

Read the constitution. It’s all there. The president holds office for 4 years. In those 4 years he has the power and obligation to nominate and then, with approval of the senate, appoint and fill any vacant seat of the Supreme Court. I don’t know why that’s so hard to understand
