...know that NHs are always supposed to be in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations regarding NHs, including the prevention of infections? Probably, that's why people were sent there. NH neglect is a big issue nationwide. It didn't just start.

Good luck on that. I was a cna for 10 years and worked in many facilities on all shifts. I NEVER worked a fully staffed shift because the higher ups treat all those below them as though they don’t matter.

Exactly. Infection control is a minimum standard per the Codeo of Federal Regulations, but in my experience facilities are not willing to hire enough staff to meet this requirement. Staff are set up to fail. They're required to have staff to meet minimum standards, usually dont.

If these homes were monitored as strictly as kids enviroments, they would have been closed months ago. If I had a parent or grandparent, they would have been permanently removed and brought home March 6. I do not understand people leaving elders to die in these death camps. ONLY

White, non Indigenous people would do this as we Natives honor our Elders and they remain in the homes of their children or grandchildren. Reservations in SD esp are taking extra precautions to keep our elders, keepers of OUR wisdom alive so it can be passed down. White people
