People seem to not understand you can open the schools all you want that doesn't mean parents are obligated to send their kids. Remote learning is and has always been an option for parents so is homeschooling.

Correct...every student has that option (teacher here) + we had many students stay home before the official shut-down last spring for various health reasons. Looks like we will open up online this fall with hopes of getting some kids (K-2, Spec Ed, ?) in-building 2-4 days weekly
